The SportO Cam application (developed by VNVAR) is committed to safeguarding user privacy and personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when using the application.
1. Data Collection & Access Permissions
To operate as a specialized sports video recording station, the application requests the following device permissions:
Camera
Used to record high-definition sports matches (1080p, 2K, 4K) and facilitate live streaming.
Microphone (Audio Recording)
Captures live on-field match audio synchronized with the video stream.
Local Network (Local Network / Wi-Fi)
Connects and streams live video via WebRTC/RTSP protocol to referee tablet devices within the same local network.
Device Storage
Saves recorded video segments (.ts/.mp4) directly into device local memory for review (CheckVAR) and data export.
Foreground Service
Maintains continuous recording even when the screen is turned off or when switching apps, preventing match disruption.
2. Data Usage & Storage
Local Storage
All recorded images, videos, and audio are stored entirely locally on your device.
No External Transmission
The application does NOT upload your personal video, audio, or images to any third-party cloud servers without your explicit consent. Data is transmitted exclusively inside the closed local Wi-Fi/LAN between the Camera and controlling Tablet.
3. Third-Party Sharing
We DO NOT sell, trade, or share any of your personal data, audio, or video with any third parties or advertising networks. The application contains zero advertisements.
4. Data Security
Video files are protected within the device's native file system. You retain full control to manage, export, or delete recordings at any time via in-app storage management or computer USB connection.
5. Audience and Children
The application is designed specifically for tournament operations and sports broadcasting, and does not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13 years of age.
